  6. HIGH SCHOOL

    I feel like I don’t know how to talk to people anymore. Anything I say seems to be irrelevant in their lives therefore I talk less and less. Do they want my opinion or should I just keep it to myself? Will they think I’m more of a dork than I already am or will this boost my cool points?

    Ever since I’ve moved to this new school last year, I feel like I haven’t talked in such a long time. I’ve met some great friends these past one and a half years but it’s not the same as my old friends I’ve known for years at my old school. I want to talk, I just want some depth. I don’t know how people see me at this new school because when I look around, I’m not completely the coolest person ever but I’m not at the “bottom of the food chain” either. I see myself as a middle man in high school politics but really, what did I do to deserve this? I should be at the bottom because I’m the former “new kid”. The awkward, new kid but I’m not. I’m automatically in the middle, even upper middle HAHA High School Class levels are stupid anyway. I sit with a table full of people, I don’t sit in the corner of the classrooms, I have friends…but…there’s always something missing.

    You know when people say that high school is the worst 4 years of their lives? Well I feel like I’m now just starting those four years it because I seem to not connect with people anymore. It’s not absolutely terrible but I can understand the people who say that now? After just a semester of experiencing it… so I guess I don’t fully understand the life of a absolute loner-loser in high school with insecurities and the judgement of ignorant high schoolers.

  9. I ate at IHOP for the first time ever today :O! It was an early release day so I went with Charly and Jennifer haha funnn. I get criticized often for not having tried IHOP but WHAT NOW?! :) Honestly, it’s overrated.Pancakes are pancakes and IHOP was no different…
